| Les premiers résultats confirment l’hypothèse qu’entre les pommes bio et PI, des différences conditionnées par le mode de production existent, tant en ce qui concerne le nombre que la fréquence des moisissures et des levures ; ces différences pourraient s’avérer importantes du point de vue nutritionnel et qualitatif. Ainsi, les pommes biologiques ont présenté un plus grand nombre d’endophytes, dont en majeure partie des moisissures. | Ziel des mit Mitteln des Bundesprogramms ökologischer Landbau gefördert um im Institut für ökologischen Landbau in Trenthorst von 2008 - 2011 durchgeführten Versuches war es, zu überprüfen, ob sich Nachteile unter kontrollierten wissenschaftlichen Bedingungen bestätigen lässt. Verglichen wurden die Verfahren Einzelsäugen, Gruppensäugen mit je 3 Sauen und Gruppensäugen mit je 5 oder 6 Sauen. Untesucht wurden die Lebendmasseentwicklungen der Ferkel, das Krankheits- und Verlustgeschehen von Sauen und Ferkeln sowie das Verhalten von Sauen. |

| The case refers to organic milk production and the marketing of organic milk produce. We describe the situation of two groups of organic dairy farmers working in northern Germany. The two groups are confronted with an extremely difficult choice. They have to choose whether they will continue to follow a quality oriented strategy of organic farming or whether they will favour mass production concepts – based on the principles for organic production of course. Against this background several general results can be drawn from our study. The process which we characterize as “transforming rural communication” is actually underway in rural areas. | Until now, the term ‘Farming for Health’ is unknown in Germany but it would cover a wide spectrum of different kinds of social agriculture already existing in Germany, such as farms that integrate disabled people or drug therapy into their farming system, or farms that integrate children, pupils or older people. Relevant work in Germany is done in ‘Sheltered Workshops’, where supporting and healing powers of farming and gardening are used for disabled people with a diversity of work possibilities. Still, it is only a brief overview of a very complex topic which has been discussed for over three decades and which will be even more discussed in the future. Vi har brugt en model baseret på observerede køb af frugt og grønt i perioden 2002 til 2007, og resultaterne viser, at udviklingen i priser, øget udbud og flere typer af butikker på markedet ikke er de eneste forklaringer på den voldsomme vækst. Information om pesticidrester i konventionelt produceret frugt og grønt samt information, der kobler økologi sammen med sundhed, kan være en medvirkende årsag. Overordnet set får information om pesticidrester flere til at købe økologi, mens information om økologi som sundhedsfremmende får husholdningerne til at købe mere.
